The rows come off the scan directly, not retyped by a model. A regex cannot misread a 6 as an 8.

It checks the arithmetic

A bill is a closed system of sums, so every sum is a free check. Failures name the row to look at.

It tells you something

Spend by category, effective tax, discount against MRP — and the odd thing your shop got wrong.

Not only receipts

The same engine handles a restaurant bill's service charge, a fuel slip's litres, an electricity bill's period and meter reading, a cab fare's surge, and a hospital invoice's advance payment — because a bill is modelled as items, adjustments, taxes and totals rather than as one shop's layout.

Pricing

Counted in documents, not tokens — a bill is a bill whether it has three lines or thirty. Going over never stops anything; it only moves you down the queue until the month turns over.

Some processing happens off this server. Answering questions across your tools, anything without a route of its own and the chat tool use cloud: the text goes there to be understood and the result comes back here. Photographs never leave.

Everything else — indexing documents for search and reading your bills — runs on this machine.

We do not train on your data and the provider does not retain it for training. If that is not acceptable for your documents, the self-hosted build runs every model on your own machine instead.

Uploaded photos are never written to disk. They are read into memory, processed and dropped; what is kept is the extracted text and figures, encrypted at rest. You can delete any bill, or your whole account, and it goes.
